Blair Blackwell is the corporate affairs manager for Chevron’s Salt Lake Refinery, where she manages Chevron’s government relations, public affairs, and community engagement in Utah. Blair joined Chevron in 2012 to lead education-focused social investment initiatives across the United States. Blair also served as a Senior Advisor to the Eurasia Business Unit based in Almaty, Kazakhstan from 2018 – 2019.
Prior to joining Chevron, Blair spent over 15 years working in the private sector, nonprofit organizations, and international organizations in Central Asia, the Balkans, Africa, and the US. Previous roles have included the director of private sector initiatives for the International Crisis Group, executive director of Princeton in Africa, and acting deputy director of the Education Department of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is a graduate of Princeton University. Blair is passionate about community engagement, corporate responsibility, and empowering the next generation. In her free time, Blair serves on the Board of UCAIR and Princeton in Asia. She loves all things outdoors and when not at work can usually be found on her snowboard or mountain bike.
