Previously, JD worked at one of the largest recruiting firms in the world where he serviced several Fortune 500 clients. More recently, he served in the function and formerly acted as HR generalist and technical talent acquisition partner and senior talent acquisition partner at high-growth SaaS companies.
Currently, JD is the head of talent acquisition at BambooHR, which has grown 700 percent during his tenure, where he is actively innovating the art of recruiting and retention through process engineering. JD encourages the integration of recruiting into all other departments so the life cycle of hiring and beyond becomes a seamless and efficient process.
JD is on the Utah State SHRM Board of Directors and Forbes HR Leadership Council where he continues to promote the essential role HR and talent acquisition play in developing a people-first approach to organizational development.
