In October of 2018, Mitch Dansie became the general manager of Desert Color–a 3,400 acre master planned community located on SITLA land east of I-15 and Southern Parkway.
Mitch was born and raised in Herriman Utah and he and his wife, Amy, have been raising their four children in South Jordan Utah. They are excited to relocate to beautiful St. George and get involved with the community in as many ways as possible. He is eager to be a part of Desert Color and to help in creating a sustainable anchor development in Southern Utah.
An accomplished and proven finance and operations executive with over 15 years of international experience in project management and oversight, Mitch has an extensive background in risk management, process improvement and change management. Most recently, Mitch has enjoyed leading and developing 400 acres of family farm property in Herriman Utah. Mitch has a BA in Finance from the University of Utah and was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and Co.
Mitch enjoys immersing himself into his families passions whether it’s competitive baseball, golf or dance. He is an avid golfer and enjoys wakeboarding and hiking with his family in the big playground we call Utah.
