Nicki Sanders is a Principal Developer Advocate at TaxBit where she leads blockchain research and development specifically for DeFi and NFT contracts, is a frequent speaker on all things web3, and interfaces with external developers to have a smooth implementation experience with TaxBit’s APIs.

Sanders has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Utah and has an extensive background in software engineering. Prior to joining TaxBit, Sanders worked at Medici Ventures and tZERO Group, Inc., where she designed, architected, and implemented tZERO’s Global Security Standard for digital securities. During this time, Sanders also led the mobile applications development team for tZERO’s Crypto App. While at tZERO, she helped with the innovation of several smart contract standards related to digital securities for which she has been awarded 3 separate patents.

Nicki has recently launched a podcast, Imagining the Metaverse, where she and Scott Paul discuss current events surrounding web3 and metaverse topics.
